ECP appoints second non-exec director | Australian Markets
Wealth industry veteran Sandi Orleow has joined the $3 billion ECP Asset Administration as non-executive director.
Introduced at this time, Orleow turns into the boutique Australian investment firm’s second non-exec board member, becoming a member of Angela Obree and company founder and incumbent chair Dr Manny Pohl.
She presently serves on the boards of Pengana Worldwide Equities and the Sydney Monetary Discussion board, and was previously chair of CFA Societies Australia’s variety council, a trustee director at Lively Tremendous, and a member of the ACT Treasury investment advisory board.
Pohl welcomed the appointment of extremely credentialed Orleow, recognising her “passion for innovation, diversity and inclusion”.
“Sandi is an accomplished non-executive director in the funds management industry. Her experience across multiple geographies and demonstrated success in leveraging established processes into new markets will be valuable to ECP as we enter our next phase of growth, both locally and offshore,” he mentioned.
Pohl famous her involvement and energetic engagement with skilled associations, together with CEW (Chief Government Ladies), WOB (Ladies on Boards), the EY Director Program Alumni and the CFA Society, which, he mentioned, “speaks volumes on her commitment to fostering environments that integrate new ideas into traditional businesses”.
“We are looking forward to having Sandi on our board and utilising her expertise to further grow and enhance our business,” Pohl mentioned.
Orleow is certified as a Chartered Accountant, has intensive consultancy expertise, and was previously a senior portfolio adviser at Perpetual and an adviser at start-up investment group Investible.
Based in 2012 with workplaces in Sydney and London, ECP is a specialist energetic equity fund supervisor overseeing more than $3 billion in shopper funds.
