DAVOS, Switzerland (Reuters) -Botswana’s new President Duma Boko stated on Thursday that he hoped his authorities would signal a diamond gross sales pact with Anglo American (JO:) unit De Beers imminently.
Talking during a Reuters NEXT Newsmaker interview on the World Financial Discussion board’s annual assembly in Davos, Switzerland, Boko stated his authorities was in settlement with De Beers on most points and that every one that remained was “just tidying up”.
“I’m hoping it is tomorrow,” Boko stated, when requested when the federal government deliberate to signal the gross sales deal.
