MLC Life confirms subsequent risk chief | Australian Markets
MLC Life Insurance has formally appointed Melissa Ammon because the firm’s everlasting chief risk officer (CRO).
Ammon, becoming a member of MLC Life as basic supervisor of risk in early 2023, stepped in as appearing CRO final September, changing Jane McGovern. The transfer adopted McGovern’s appointment because the firm’s chief buyer and strategy officer that very same month.
Ammon boasts more than 25 years’ expertise throughout the insurance coverage, financial planning, superannuation and asset management sectors, together with stints at iCare NSW and Commonwealth Financial institution of Australia, notably in compliance and business transformation roles.

MLC Life’s merger with Decision Life Australasia – birthing Acenda – is anticipated to happen within the second half of 2025.
